2002-05-30 - 9:30 a.m.
A new neighbor finally moved into the apartment upstairs from me this past weekend. Nurse Judy is what I call her because my landlady told me that she was some sort of lab technician in a hospital. (I didn't think "Lab Technician Judy" rolled off the tongue the same way.). I haven't met her yet, and only caught a glimpse of her. She seems okay so far though. She is doesn't hog parking spots, she turns the hallway light off (the one connected to my line), she takes out her trash and recyclables, and she is relatively quiet.... most of the time ... with one exception.
In the week that she has been living above me, I've been woken up THREE times in the middle of the night to the sound of the bed rocking up against the wall and her moans of passion. Woah!
Now, I'll be bluntly honest and admit that the first time (OKAY, the 2nd time too!) I heard these sounds, it WAS somewhat erotic. From my glimpse of Nurse Judy, she's looks to be a cutie. And lets face it, this is the closest to any kind of action that I've had in a while. So since it was the first time AND the weekend, I didn't mind it as much. But now I'm starting to find it annoying. I don't sleep well as it is, and to be woken up at 1:00 - 2:00 AM a couple times a week to a bed hitting the wall doesn't help. Also, in a weird way it's kind of depressing. I mean I'm happy that other people are getting their rocks off (Did I actually just use that phrase!?) but it's also a emphasizes that there is ZERO female physical contact in my life.
Okay, I'm starting to sound weird here. I'm going to turn off the "bluntly honest" switch of my brain (located behind my left ear.)
One last though on Nurse Judy's booty calls... Booty call might be the perfect phrase to describe these encounters. As I am trying to go to sleep, all is relatively quiet. I sometimes hear her on the phone. Then I am awoken to the sounds of their amore'. The next morning there is no sign of him again. You go grrrl! A woman who know/gets what she wants (just wish she 'got it' a little more quieter).
